Thomas Bernhard Trail

The Thomas Bernhard Trail is a well-developed theme trail with only slight ascents. Starting at the market square near the primary schools, it leads to the listed art nouveau chapel Heilig-Kreuz near the former Grafenhof pulmonary sanatorium, then through the spa park past the rest oasis to the Seelackenmuseum and the parish church and back to the starting point via the market square. Along the way you can expect interesting stations on Bernhard's stay in St. Veit.

Length of the trail: 2,8 km
Duration: 1 hour

If you would like to learn even more about Bernhard, we invite you to visit our exhibition about him at the Seelackenmuseum or the annual Thomas Bernhard Days.
